Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about sealing, timing and prep. Don't see yours? Just call or text.

How long until I can walk and drive on it?

Most jobs are ready for foot traffic the same day, furniture the next day and vehicles back in 48 hours. We give you exact times for your surface and tape off the area before we leave.

Do I need to be home?

No. We need the area clear, cars moved, access to an outdoor water spigot, and sprinklers that spray the area turned off for a day or two. We'll confirm everything when we schedule.

How often should pavers be resealed?

In our climate, most sealed pavers look their best with a reseal every two to three years. Driveways with heavy traffic may want it sooner.

Will sealing stop weeds and ants?

Sealing hardens the joint sand, which makes it much harder for weeds to root and ants to dig. It cuts down on both significantly.

Can you get oil stains out?

Most oil and rust stains can be removed or greatly reduced with treatment before sealing. Very old, deep stains may lighten rather than disappear completely, and we tell you up front.

Which sealer should I choose?

Super Wet gives the deepest, wet-look color and is our most popular choice for driveways. Natural Luster is a softer, semi-wet look that many people prefer on pool decks and stone.

Do you work year-round?

Yes. We seal through all four seasons and just schedule around rain.

Do you seal concrete and travertine too?

Yes, including stamped concrete with color stain, exposed aggregate, travertine, slate and pebble decks. See concrete & stone.

Is financing available?

Yes, through Synchrony. See financing for details.
